Alexandre is an On-Set VFX Supervisor with strong interests in Cinematography and Directing. His career started in France, where he studied Fine Arts and CG Animation, before moving to London to work at The Moving Picture Company (MPC). Thereafter, he has garnered 8+ years of experience as a VFX Compositor in film, television and commercial at various studios. He directed his own short films and dabbled in cinematography, in conjunction with his career in post-production. Filming on Super8, Super16 and digital complemented his understanding of both production and post production workflows. His firm grasp of both photochemical cinematography and digital sensors helped him quickly grow into an On-Set VFX Supervisor in commercial, and also notably for HBO shows. These projects resulted in two EMMY Nominations in 2021 and 2023. He is currently based in New York to work on a new HBO Limited Series “The Penguin”, under Johnny Han. He is keen on staying at the edge of creative technologies to help filmmakers achieve their vision.
Alexandre is a gem shining in this new generation of VFX Artists. He brings an in depth creative vocabulary to his design capabilities, harnessed from vfx films, animated series, and classical fine arts that he has diligently studied over his lifetime. This coupled with a sharp understanding of modern technical tools both 2d and 3d, and a relentless passion for excellence results in outstanding work full of character and soul.
